\nA single colony of honeybees can pollinate 300 million flowers per day. There are up to 80,000 honeybees in a colony. A single bee colony can produce 60 to 100 pounds of honey annually. <\/p>\n

\nEach year a honeybee hive collects 66 pounds of pollen. A honeybee carries up to 35% of its body weight in pollen. A honeybee will visit 50 to 100 flowers per flight. That’s an average of 26,667 trips for 1 pound of honey! <\/p>\n
