\u2022 Wednesday, December 5 at 9:00am – Mid-Continent Public Library Opening Celebration<\/strong>
\nOur citizens have eagerly been awaiting the new construction that has been underway at our beloved library! Join them this Wednesday morning for a formal opening, with entertainment and treats, too!<\/p>\n

\u2022 Wednesday, December 5 – 9:30am – MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) Monthly Meeting<\/strong>
\nThere’s a new Mom’s group in Excelsior Springs through the First United Methodist Church. Be sure to join other area pre-school aged moms with their children for some fun and fellowship each month! Click here for more details!<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Thursday, December 6 – 11:30am-1:00pm – SAFE Meeting<\/strong>
\nThe Substance Abuse Free Environments (SAFE) committee will be holding its monthly meeting at the Excelsior Springs Hospital. There will be a special presentation given by ES Hospital CEO Kristen DeHart regarding access to opioid addiction treatment that will be offered through our hospital. For more details, see the Friday, Nov. 30th edition of the Excelsior Springs Standard.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Friday, December 7 – 12:30pm – Chamber Meet & Eat<\/strong>
\nThis Friday the Excelsior Springs Chamber will be having a Meet & Eat gathering at Price Chopper for lunch. Join in on this networking event and get more details by clicking here!<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2022 Friday, December 7 – 7:00pm – Atlas Saloon<\/strong>
\nEvery Friday evening, the Atlas Saloon downtown on Broadway will have Karaoke Friday’s! Swing in for a beer from their new brewery at the location and get your sing on!<\/p>\n

\u2022 Saturday, December 8 – 5:45pm and 7:45pm – Holly Jolly Trolley Tours & Taste of Christmas<\/strong>
\nThis Saturday, the Excelsior Springs Chamber will be offering Holly Jolly Trolley Tours throughout town to see the houses competing in this season’s Lighted Displays! Click here for more info!<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2022 Lane of Lights – Lover’s Lane and 10 Hwy – Donations for Entry<\/strong>
\nThe Lane of Lights is open 5:30pm-10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 5:30pm-9:00pm on Sundays through Thursdays. Proceeds go to the group that is sponsoring the Lane for that night and the Christmas Committee! Here’s the list for this week’s hosts:<\/p>\n
