These posts are always a favorite of the citizens to see Excelsior Springs throughout the years. See below for a featured video on Excelsior Springs&#8217; history and snapshots of history shared throughout the week in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/eslocal\/\" target=\"_blank\">Excelsior Springs Area News, Events, and Daily Deals facebook group!<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cegHjQ9EfRQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe Excelsior Springs Hospital shared a picture of downtown that\u00a0Sharon James mentioned in the comments looked to be in about the 1960&#8217;s. Terri Irons asked if there was a stoplight on Broadway and Vicki Bolin says she remembers there being one when she was in high school. It was also noted that this picture shows Mary&#8217;s Cafe on the north side of Broadway. Bob Campbell stated that it was his wife&#8217;s paternal grandparents, Baxter and Mary Love, who owned it! The Morse Mansion was located where the Job Corps campus sits now.
