Every month Excelsior Springs is known for putting on various events to celebrate around holidays and the heart of our downtown. This March is no exception, with something for everyone in the lineup to come. Be sure to get the following events on your calendar now, so you don’t miss out on the fun!<\/p>\n

\"Sporting<\/a><\/p>\n

1. Sporting KC FIFA 20 Tournament<\/h2>\n

On March 6th we will be hosting a FIFA 20 tournament with Sporting KC, powered by KC Game On! Sporting KC will be bringing their professional FIFA eMLS player, Alekzandur, and USMNT U20 and Sporting KC defender, Jaylin Lindsey. They will also be providing their professional DJ and a taco truck 😋. The winner of this tournament receives free tickets to SKC’s home opener the next day! Both Xbox and PlayStation consoles are welcome (must bring your own).<\/p>\n

2. Second Friday’s in Downtown ES<\/h2>\n

Friday, March 13th will be the downtown’s next Second Friday’s, with activities scheduled through 8:00pm the evening. Pictured above is an art piece done by Jamie Travis, that will be featured at Main Spring Arts Gallery & Studios on Main Street. Watch for other featured artists in the art galleries, live music in the restaurants, and wine tastings along the way! You don’t want to miss Second Friday’s!<\/p>\n

3. Super Smash Bros Tournament<\/h2>\n

Join ES Parks and Recreation on March 14th for our Super Smash Bros Tournament hosted at the Excelsior Springs Community Center! The format will be 1v1 with Round Robin play followed by a seeded double elimination bracket. Snack will be provided and winners will receive a trophy. It will be played on the Nintendo Switch and bringing your own controllers is encouraged. The top 3 finishers will qualify for the KC M.E.S.A. regional finals! 4. Trolley Hops Beer Tour<\/h2>\n

Hop aboard the Chamber Trolley for a one of a kind beer tour beginning and ending in Excelsior Springs. We will visit and tour 4 breweries for the day. Tickets are limited and are only $50. Snacks included & provided aboard the trolley but you are welcome to bring your own. 5. Excelsior Springs Chamber Expo<\/h2>\n

The Excelsior Springs Chamber will be hosting our Excelsior Expo to showcase our local business community and all we have to offer. This will be a great chance to shop local businesses in one location, connect with other community members and win one of the many door prizes we\u2019ll be giving away!<\/p>\n

Come shop for products and services for your entire family! Enjoy a day out in downtown Excelsior Springs! 6. Sippin’ Into Springtime in Downtown Excelsior Springs<\/h2>\n

Calling all wine lovers! Join us in Downtown Excelsior Springs on Saturday, March 28th for our Sippin’ Into Springtime event!<\/p>\n

Spend the day visiting the eateries, drinkeries, shops, boutiques, galleries and more throughout Downtown Excelsior Springs while enjoying samples of wine at each participating location!<\/p>\n
