There have been a number of GoFundMe’s created for our local families recently. I thought it would be good to give them some awareness. If your heart feels compelled to give anything to these causes, thank you. There are so many in our community needing funds to help give their loved ones a proper burial. I appreciate that we live in a place that has so many citizens willing to help those in need.
Jesse James Morgan
Funds are needed to help bring Jesse James Morgan’s body back home to be cremated. He passed away quickly from cancer and his body is being held at the morgue until $2,500 can be raised. Click here for more details.
Amber High
On Saturday, July 11 Amber was involved in a horrible drowning accident and had to be life flighted to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She is currently on a ventilator but after doctors doing tests, they have said there is no brain activity. Her parents are now having to make the decision if they want Amber to be an organ donor before they remove her from the ventilator. Amber did not have life insurance so we are asking for donations for her future funeral expenses. Click here for more details.
